As one of the comments said Stunfisk is most likely more based on the stargazer fish, especially since it has the ability to discharge electricity and hides in the ground, which would fit with Stunfisk’s typing. Still would be cool to see a flounder/flatfish ‘mon, though!

Holy shit I’d have thought this cutie was a species of predatory robber fly but Hypoderma tarandi is apparently a tissue parasite of reindeer and sometimes mistakenly lays its eggs in the eyeballs of other mammals, including humans!
